June has been a very eventful month for us. Disco-shows all over Denmark, the opening of the international photoexhibition Wild Wonders in Copenhagen – in cooperation with WWF, Global Wind Day in Aarhus with the windmill-manufacturer Vestas and on national television giving a few pointers on how to get started with playing bottles – see more here (in danish)
Now the summer is really taking off and we’re excited to announce that we’ll be playing on Roskilde Festival once again!!
Last year was a hit and again we’ll be doing it with the most enviroment-friendly soundsystem around, KARMAKANONEN. These guys went to Mexico when COP16 was held to promote partying in a CO2-friendly way.
Last time you could try out our bottles and join in on some bottlemusic-improv and this summer you’ll get the chance to be a part of the music again. This time its techno and you’ll be playing and jumping and dancing until you drop so remember to come party with us.
This is where it’s going down: ROSKILDE FESTIVAL, CITYCENTER EAST, AREA P from d. 26. – 29. of JUNE.
On wednesday this week we are playing at the opening of Wild Wonders, which is a photoexhibition showing the crown jewels of nature. It is taking place at Nytorv in Copenhagen and the event is public. WWF is an officiel partner.

Spring is barely over and The Bottle Boys are already planning for summer. We are happy to announce that we will be playing several concerts both in and outside Denmark from June through August.
First up is Roskilde Festival June (26th – July 3rd) where we will be playing the camping area during the warm-up days. Next, we will embark on yet another chapter of the annual Bottle Tour. Where we will go has not been decided yet, but suggestions are very welcome! Once we return to Denmark, we will end the summer by playing another two festival gigs, Samsø (July 21st) and Skanderborg (august 10th–14th).
We have plenty of new tunes on the repertoire and of course a bunch of good old bottle classics. We’re counting on a wonderful and sunny summer, and should the weather fail us – heck, we’ll just play Walkin’ On Sunshine, that’s always a winner!
Tour-plan // “Summer of bottles!”
26st – 29th JUNE // ROSKILDE FESTIVAL
12th – 19th JULY // BOTTLE TOUR 11 (DESTINATION UNKNOWN)

More information to come.
We’ve gathered a few pictures and videos from last year to get the summer spirit going!
A street performance of ours ended up on Facebook and caught the attention of the Danish singer Medina. The video featured us performing the song Just for me by above mentioned artist and her response was this: “This is the most awesome shit ever!!! ..haha love it..!!!” – we love you too Medina
After 5 days in Amsterdam the Bottle Boys are getting ready to move on, eventhough the city has treated us extraordinarily well. That aside we have high hopes that Belgium will be just as happy for a bit of bottleblowing. At the same time we used the opportunity to get creative and add some more material to our playlist. Stuff you would never have imagined being played on bottles.
We will remember Amsterdam for the comfortable laid-back attitude and room for diversity in every aspect. Bottlelove from us.
The above is the title of a famous Dutch football song, and after they won silver in the Football World Cup sunday, Amsterdam was one big party the following days. The city was crowded with orange-dressed fans from near and far, and when we added Hup Holland Hup on bottles to the party, we clearly also added to the mood in the streets. Read more »
